Summer Zoomed By

Wow!!

I can't believe that it's already August and harvest up here is in full swing.  It's been a busy, busy summer both in my personal life as well as my life as a "business" person.

As a member of Fessenden Civic and Commerce, I've been working on the Park Social this summer.  It's much like a farmer's market, but every week a different group makes a great meal to earn money for their organization, and we have volunteers that provide some musical entertainment.  It's been great fun.  This was one of our entertainers this year...he did great and had fun doing it.

We've also been cleaning out my mom's home as she gets ready to move.  She lived in the same house for a long time, so there have been lots of old treasures found and memories cropping up all over the place.  But, dang what a lot of work.

This is one of my mom's pieces...he makes me smile and look at those eyelashes.
