It's a 4-letter word....SNOW

Even for North Dakota, we have a lot of snow. It's become the main topic of conversation and it's gotten extremely frustrating for most of us. I finally got out to the studio, but brrrr, it's cold outside today. I have more flowers in the kiln. The colder it gets, the more it snows, the more all I want to make is flowers, but I think I did make a heart with a flower on it too.

I still think there is beauty in the starkness of winter and this is what I see outside the studio window....snow from the street and our driveways has been pushed up into the studio yard and yes, there is frost on my windows today.

  1. I heartily agree. I am in Massachusetts, where snow is also a four letter word. I am already sick of snowblowing the driveway and it isn't even February!

  2. Gorgeous pictures.
We've had more than our fair share of snow here in Germany too, but never as much as the mass of snow you have!
Looking forward to your flower beads!

  3. Those pics are beautiful! We rarely get snow in my neck of the woods, and when we do it's nothing like that.

  7. Great photos! So sorry about all that snow though. We have been having frigid temps down here in Missouri. Not much snow.

  9. The snow isn't so bad. But when it gets really, really cold and the wind blows I know it's time to hibernate for awhile.

  10. when I come to your blog, the amazing things happen. I just physically sense the beauty in totally all points here. You inspire me to say something good and I enjoy the sunbeam totally everywhere - the cold snow looks nice, and the dirty pools underfoot do the same - the life looks fine and I wish just one - I bow to you and applaud and I don't want to know nothing more except enjoying the breathe of life
