I am HOME!

I am home and I must say, it feels really good to be here. I had open heart surgery on July 21st to bypass a blocked artery. I guess things didn't go exactly as planned, and they had to put in a a pump to help the heart. 4 days later, it was back to the operating room to have the pump removed. Since I am here to write this, I guess it did the job and I am very grateful to the doctor and his team that worked so hard to make this so. And also very thankful that I have this amazing family that have given me love and support every step of the way!

It will be a little while yet before I am able to get back into the studio, but I have been doing a lot of thinking and reading and planning on what I want to do first when I can get back to the glass. I also have the seed beads and just ordered some fine silver wire, so I can play with some other ideas that have been bouncing around inside my head. I'm needing less and less of the pain killers all the time, so I will feel more comfortable being out in the studio with my tools.
I came home from the hospital to find all these packages and envelopes and cards. I was truly humbled by all the love that was here waiting for me...from all over the place, from people that I have never "seen" but definitely count as dear friends....

So I am HOME and LIFE IS VERY GOOD!
