Changing Gears

I wonder if anyone else finds it hard to create when your family needs you.  Or when the sun is just too warm to sit inside at that workbench.  Or when your mind is exploding with so many ideas that you find it hard to get it to settle.

My curiosity has a way of sending me down creative paths that really have nothing to do with glass or jewelry.  This year it seems that it has been about how a screen print is done, gardening in raised beds and growing things I have never tasted before, and spending time with my family that continues to grow.

It's not that Deronda Designs has fallen by the wayside, but it's direction seems to once again changing and evolving and when that happens I struggle to find the balance between the business and the creative sides of who I am.

But here are a few things that have been on the workbench or out in the garden lately.
