I was pointed to this blog, The Stone Soup Challenge and it made me smile.
"The Stone Soup Challenge is a grassroots movement founded by artist Laura Bray. The goal of the challenge is for artists and crafters to help one another by promising to use a portion of their monthly profits to invest in a fellow artist's shop."
This was an easy challenge to accept since it is something that Jeff and I already do. Or rather, he supports the fact that I do it since he's even less of a shopper than I am. But as I wander from shop to shop and blog to blog it's more like a walk through a gallery than it is "shopping".

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see this idea making the rounds through the blogs! I'm a part of the challenge too, and I think it's a seriously wonderful idea. There's nothing better for us crafters to do than to support other crafters.
